In the first Middleton
Cup game versus the IOW CBA we set a high standard with a fine performance.
In the team talk
before the Oxon game we agreed we would not fall below the standard set in
the IOW game and when I left Banbury after the Oxford game that standard was maintained
and bettered. I was a very proud team manager of a special squad of players
that want to play for their county, and are proud to, and want the county
to do well.
The game against
Oxon CBA proved that with an outstanding team performance the team spirit
was excellent. With this squad we are on the way to putting Hampshire CBA
back at the top of the outdoor counties.
Finally thanks to
all the officers and supporters for their support from the squad and
myself. It is much appreciated by all.
